Hey there, dear friends!!

I would love to know more about the people who read my blog every day and comment and talk to me so often so I though… I would ask!

These questions may be too personal for you and you might not want to answer them for privacy reasons and that is totally okay. I won’t love you any less!!! You can always answer privately, using my email: pinkfordays@outlook.pt!

  2. The name’s Diana. People tend to call me Princess Diana and I don’t like it so I introduce myself as Diane. 😛 I’m Trinidadian and I speak English. The French is coming along. My all time favorite book is the Holy Bible. It has guided me accordingly. I have several favorite movies (most of them Tom Cruise’s because he is Bae!). I don’t listen to music anymore, but I still have a soft spot for Train and Depeche Mode.

    I don’t participate in sports but I love football. I cheer on FC Barcelona and I have soft spots for PSG, Lyon, Manchester City and Tottenham Hotspur, but my all time favorite team is the French national football team (Allez Les Bleus!). Right now it’s 4:26 pm. Some of these questions have been answered on my blog at some point so I’m a bit lazy to answer all.

    Cheila, your blog is one of my favorites. I like your blog because you’re open, honest, funny, and you’re like my friend. 🙂 Keep being you, girl!

    Do you have a middle name? Ellison. It is my father’s last name and I took it on as my middle name when I got married. I didnt have a middle name before that.
    Can you tell me your age and birthday? 31, September 12th
    Where in the world are you? Seattle, Washington!
    What is your maternal language? What language do you speak at home? Do you speak any other languages? English. My husband is fluent in Spanish and speaks it occasionally with our daughter, but she and I only surface understand it.
    Are you married? If so, how many years? Did you have a big wedding? Married since November 14th! We had a medium size wedding at the Arctic Club Seattle

    What do you love about blogging? Is there something you don’t like? I love how social it is and that you can make friends across the world. I have met so many neat people and want to meet so many more! I love it. I don’t like mean opinions 🙂

  5. Hey love, my name is Arundhati. If you can pronounce that…I shall do a hula dance. After that mouthful, you should thank me that I do not have a middle name. I am 36 years old. Nov 9th is the day I came into this world to pester my parents. I am a Bengali (from Calcutta in India) who speaks Bengali, Hindi and English. English is my first language even though my mother language is Bengali. At home, I speak English with my husband. Home is in Northampton in the UK, where I live with Adi, my husband of five years. We had a huge wedding in Calcutta, a couple of smashing cocktail parties in some beautiful locations and a cold but wonderful reception in Delhi (Indian weddings are too grand and I really think they should be toned down). Adi and I met in a bar in Delhi. I was kinda dating someone else and yet there was no looking back when Adi asked me out. I had finally finally met the love of my life. We dated for two years before we decided to just sign on a piece of paper for the sake of our parents and go do the whole hog of an elaborate Indian wedding. I am a former journalist who freelances now.

    Now enough about me. I like following you because you are funny, candid and you do not hesitate to put down your emotions on your blog. It takes a lot of gumption to open yourself up to people you do not even know but the wonderful thing is that by doing so you engage those strangers. Now it feels like I live a little bit with you every day. I would not have it any other way. Cheers x

    1. Do you like my blog? Why? I do and I only follow blogs I love. I appreciate your honesty and your enthusiasm!
    2. Am I one of your favorites? Why? You are! I love knowing that I’m going to hear from you every day (though I don’t want you to feel pressured to write every day). I also think that your blog is beautiful. Also, I appreciate that you take the time to comment and to respond to comments.
    3. Do you think I post too often? Nope. I don’t always have time to read all of your posts, but I try to catch up when I can because I appreciate them.
    4. Do you think I am too open about things and should be more discreet? Absolutely not! I think that a blog is the perfect platform to be honest and open about things that we are more discreet about in our everyday lives.
    5. Do I annoy you in any way? Haha! Nope! I think you’re lovely and sweet.
    6. What kind of posts do you prefer? Hum, I like to read about every day stuff.

    Yes ! It’s Mégane (french version of Megan I think)

    I’m 24 years old, and my birthday is the 16th of June

    Where in the world are you?
    Paris !

    Spanish/French (I already explained that to you 😉 ) At home we speak french because my boyfriend is french. I also speak some Japanese (I learned it when I was a teenager), and some Portuguese because we had Portuguese classes at the beginning of the Spanish degree.

    Not married 🙂

    I have a boyfriend (his name is Victor), and we’ve been together for more than 2 years now !

    wow I can’t answer that, I listen to so many different things from different styles, but I never listen to many songs from the same artist. Let’s say Greenday / Dvorak / Gainsbourg ?

    Japanese food !

    Do you have any hobbies?
    Blogging, video games, drawing, sewing, cooking…

    What sports/activities do you practice?
    I go to the gym, but at the beginning of the year I had some French Boxing classes (unfortunately they weren’t available for the second semester)

    I have a family cat that stayed in my mother’s home, her name is Suki, and I “have” my boyfriend’s cat that had to stay to his parent’s home, his name is Agénor. I actually have no pets at home anymore i’m so sad 😦

    Right now it’s 00:13 or 12:13 AM, yeah i’m going to go to beg late again.

    Why do you blog?
    I blog because I need to share, to connect with other people in some way. I think it’s to compensate the fact that I don’t connect with much people in real life

    What do you love about blogging? Is there something you don’t like?
    I love the multilingual and multicultural part, it’s worldwide ! You can talk to people you never would have met in life, that’s awesome. I don’t think there is something I actually don’t like 🙂

    Yes I do ! It’s pink, sincere, and welcoming 💕

    Definitely, because your blog is your personality (especially for your blog Cheila), and you’re a lovely person ! It makes you want to come back, and read more about you 🙂

    I think you post very often, but I don’t mind. That way I know there’ll be something to read from you the same day or the next one.

    Do you think I am too open about things and should be more discreet?
    Absolutely not, things “should” be discreet only if the person concerned wants it to be that way. It someone doesn’t like to hear/read about something well, they shouldn’t read it ! 🙂

    Do I annoy you in any way?
    I don’t know how anyone could be annoyed by you ! Unless they’re allergic to love 😦

    What kind of posts do you prefer?
    Not sure, maybe the ones where you talk about your day ? I like to know how other people live. I really like the Health for Days series by the way !

    Maybe the tags ? Not that I actually “don’t like” them, I like to read your answers, but i’m a bit tired of tags in general right now, that’s just me 😀

    What is your first name? My first name is Amelie.

    Do you have a middle name? My middle name is Paige.

    Can you tell me your age and birthday? My birthday is February 16 (I was supposed to be born on Valentine’s Day and I hate that I wasn’t with every fiber of my being 😥 ).

    Where in the world are you? I inhabit the US.

    What is your maternal language? What language do you speak at home? Do you speak any other languages? My first language was English – But my best friend and a kid’s mom spoke Mandarin so when I was younger I spoke as much Mandarin and English. I speak fluent English and bits of French, Mandarin and Latin (I can vaguely understand spoken Portugese because my best friend is Brazilian 😉 )

    Are you married? If so, how many years? Did you have a big wedding? I am not married and I do not plan to be.

    What is your first name? Pamela
    Do you have a middle name? No middle name but I would totally adopt Elizabeth as my middle name.
    Can you tell me your age and birthday? 25, I’ll be 26 on May 12th and I’m not that excited about it LOL
    Where in the world are you? Right in between Chicago and Milwaukee in the USA!
    What is your maternal language? What language do you speak at home? Do you speak any other languages? My first language was Spanish but my strongest language now is English. I’m trying to learn French on Duolingo and took a bit of French, German, and Arabic through school. I’d love to learn American Sign Language as well.
    Are you married? If so, how many years? Did you have a big wedding? Not married but maybe someday!
    Are you single? Do you have a boyfriend? if so, how many years have you been together? I am 10000000% single. I’ve never had a boyfriend!
    Are you a mom or dad? How many babes do you have? Can you tell me their first names or nicknames and ages? I’m not a parent nor do I ever plan to be. It’s not that I particularly dislike kids (unless they’re poorly behaved) but it’s just not for me.
    What do you do for a living? I work in the event planning industry. I’m still stuck in a customer service role, unfortunately, but I am trying to move towards the planning portion. I’m going to go back to school for my MBA so I might end up doing a career change afterwards, we’ll see.
    What did you study in University? Did you attend? I studied International Business in school.
    What’s your favorite book? Can I say all of the Harry Potter books or is that cheating?

    Why do you blog? It’s fun! I started it because I was just feeling so bored in life and feeling like I had so much creative energy and I didn’t know what to do with it. It was a great decision 🙂
    What do you love about blogging? Is there something you don’t like? I love how creative I can be and how amazing other bloggers are! Something I don’t like is how hard it can be to be outgoing online. I worry that maybe I’ll type something and it’ll come across wrong or something.

    Do you like my blog? Why? I do like your blog. I love how honest and open you are, and how much effort you put in.
    Am I one of your favorites? Why? You are! Your strong work ethic is so easy to see and I admire that in you.

    Yes, it’s Antiporta. Which I think means against the door or outer door in spanish??
    My age is 25, and I was born on December 9
    Currently, I’m hanging out in Fiji on holiday. But I live in New Zealand.
    I speak English. I used to speak tagalog for many years when I lived in the Philippines when I was little, but have since lost that language…
    I am married! Literally got married two days ago. I’ve been with my partner for over 5 years now though.
    Nope, no kids. Maybe later.
    I’m an early childhood teacher. Specifically with under two’s.
    I went to Victoria University of Wellington. I have a Bachelor of Music, then went back and got my Graduate Diploma of Teaching.
    Don’t really have a favourite book, it changes a lot. Currently I really liked The Martian.

    • You’re on honeymoon, girl???? You’ve just got married! Congratulations!!! I’m so happy for you!! It’s not partner it’s husband now, get used to it hahaha. Your middle name means something like against the door or anti-door in Portuguese as well. Does it have a meaning?

  14. This is a very cute idea – happy to answer the questions!
    Name is Nadine. I have my dad’s name as my middle name – Khurram. 23 and born New Year’s Day of ’94. I’m in the UK and my first language is English and at home it’s a mix of English and Urdu.
    Not married but I have a boyfriend. We’ve been dating for just over five years now. No children as of yet!
    I work as a research assistant at the moment. I studied Psychology and Mental Health Primary Care in uni.
    Picking one book is very difficult! These days it’s a cross between wuthering heights and 1984. I think they were both incredibly unique for their time. I honestly cannot pick a favourite movie. I’m always changing my mind. Same applies to bands – I divert from a love of the Beejees to the more recent Terror Jr. My favourite food is a steak – literally any steak. Ever. I like to read, write and knit. I play badminton. It’s nearly 5am!
    I blog because I’ve been thinking about doing it for a while, filtering out my desire to be a writer and they say write what you know. I figured out my niche was my subject- psychology- and figured documenting my experiences in the field made the most sense. And since I’ve started he anticipation of writing a post has made me study harder and venture further to do research and learn more. Plus it’s like making a commitment to he public, motivating myself to get further in the field.
    What I love about it is that it’s my creative work. I love the writing aspect because it just pours out. What I don’t like is editting after, nitpicking and worrying about the reads, whether people will understand or if I’ve complicated stuff or made it too boring.

    As to questions regarding you yes, I like your blog. The aesthetic and general layout is lovely. The design aspects are especially good- I always appreciate well designed blogs. You are one of the ones I read more often because you keep it short snappy and interesting. I can get a quick enjoyable read out of it. Your rate of posting is fine – I think you’ve established a rate which gives you a presence. Posting too much is better than not enough.
    Whether you’re too open or not is up to you really. It’s your blog and what you choose to divulge is your prerogative. There’ll be someone out there it’ll resonate with.
    I like posts I can quickly breeze through and still get something from between commute and breaks and your blog provides that. It’s very casual, relatable and chill.

  17. What is your first name? Carol, but since high school I get called Caz. Much less stuffy and old fashioned so that’s fine by me!

    Do you have a middle name? Ann. As in ‘Carol Ann’ but without the hyphen.

    Can you tell me your age and birthday? I’m a Leo and I’ll be roaring 29 this year. How that happened, and where the years went, I’ll never know!

    Where in the world are you? Dull and cold UK, I’m afraid. South West, where the sun doesn’t like to visit too often.

    What is your maternal language? What language do you speak at home? Do you speak any other languages? Just English. I took German at A-Level but the only phrase I can remember is to ask for a cup of tea. How very stereotypically British of me!

    Are you married? If so, how many years? Did you have a big wedding? No, not married. End of story there I’m afraid…

    Are you single? Do you have a boyfriend? if so, how many years have you been together? Single. But I’m able to hog the duvet and the chocolates as much as I please!

    Are you a mom or dad? How many babes do you have? Can you tell me their first names or nicknames and ages? No babes, and not sure that’s in my future sadly. It’s strange; I was never a ‘destined to be a mother’ kind of gal until the prospect of not physically being able to have children became an issue. Jury’s out on whether it’s a possibility but it’s not looking likely.

    What do you do for a living? A question that causes me huge anxiety. I was recently fired – or should I say, I ‘lost my job’ – due to ill health and the various surgeries I’ve had in just under 2 years. I was a Community Advice and Support Worker. At present, I write, I blog, I stress myself crazy and I try unsuccessfully to rest and recover from a recent op.

    What did you study in University? Did you attend? I have a First Class Psychology Hons degree, self-taught via the Open University as I couldn’t attend a brick and mortar uni due to the tummy issues that I’d recently developed when I enrolled.

    What’s your favorite book? Wow, that’s a tricky one! I read a lot, and I don’t think I could honestly pick a favourite. I’ll give you a favourite genre instead – American crime thrillers! Love them. It’s an addiction.

    What’s your favorite movie? Another difficult one, but I’d go for Donnie Darko as a favourite from college (which I watched repeatedly).

    What is your favorite band or artist? For years I have loved and been faithful to Placebo, so I’ll go with them. Again, another very difficult question guys!

    What is your favorite food? Given my bland and boring diet post-op, and my lack of anything that’s not beige for several weeks now, I really want to choose everything! I’m actually quite a boring eater anyway and like plain, simple foods, but I’d probably go for Chicken Chow Mein. Chicken is definitely a staple in my diet. Forget bread, chicken is the way forward.

    Do you have any hobbies? I read, a lot. I write, blog, over-stress. I’m hoping they all count as hobbies…
    What sports/activities do you practice? Please see above!

    Do you have any pets? Can you tell me their names? A cat – he adopted us because I looked out for him when his owners neglected him, and then they moved away without him. He stuck around with us after that and I named him Virgil.

    Why do you blog? I wanted to reach out to others going through similar things and to raise awareness of invisible illnesses. If I could reach just one person and make the smallest, slightest difference or offer some support to show they’re not alone, then I will be incredibly happy with that.

    What do you love about blogging? Is there something you don’t like? I don’t like feeling as though I’ve not done enough, that it’s not good enough. I don’t reach all that many readers, or at least I don’t think I do, so I’m often feeling as though I’m doing very well with it. Aside from that, I love being able to raise some awareness, to ‘vent my spleen’ a little, to be part of a wider community and meet some fantastic people online and learn about other fantastic bloggers (like you!) out there.

    I love your blog! I like the layout and the newer design to the homepage to make posts clear and easy to navigate. The posts are personal and it’s great to get to know you a bit better. You write in a down-to-earth way that’s endearing and encouraging, rather than big-headed or belittling, so your readers can identify with your posts. I don’t think you post too often, I think you balance it well and you post as often as you see fit. I don’t think you’re too open at all, nor do you annoy in any way. I like the personal posts and I’m enjoying reading about your Health for Days journey. I guess I’d like to see more about your motivations and dreams and ambitions, and perhaps some more photographs! 🙂

    I go by Rossy (row-sea, (raw-sea, people pronounce it different ways).
    I live in the PNW. Speak English & spanish, currently taking ASL, wanting to learn Japanese for when I take a vacation.
    Married for 5 years but together for 6 (I like to count the time before that too). Small intimate wedding with family and close friends. We got a boy of 2, who’s such a little monster but also a lovebug.
    I’m a stay at home mom, and full-time college student working towards an associate degree. I don’t read very much but would like to start. I have too many favorite movies to count. Too many favorite artists but I guess I can say that currently, Future Islands are my favorite band. My favorite food, again too many recipes come to mind lol.
    My hobbies include music listening, working on my car, makeup, blogging…oh and modular origami.
    I love blogging because…it’s fun for me. As mentioned, it’s a hobby and I enjoy interacting with people and I get to be myself. The community is amazing and so supportive they make me feel inspired and creative. This is probably the most creative I have ever felt.
