Tell us about yourself:
Hello everybody! My name is Friederike, and I blog over at The World Of Fritters. I have always loved writing and I thought having a blog is the perfect way to share my thoughts with other bloggers! I blog about my lifestyle, my travels, my ideas and thoughts, but also about adventures I have experienced!
What was your favorite thing about my party?
Did you get any new followers or views because of the party?
I got more views on my blog because of the Blogging Party! My blog is growing slowly and I don’t care that much about the views, but I got some amazing bloggers to join my reading community which makes me very happy.
Did you make any friends?
I did make new friends! New (and really nice ) bloggers commented on my posts and followed my blog!

Well you gotta try some. Or, even better, make some unless your heart palpitates at the thought of deep frying stuff.

This is for one of my favourite ones which requires basic onions and a bit of green chillies. You can leave the chillies if you want but a bit of it adds flavour.
In Bengali it is called Peyaji (pe-aa-jee). It is basically onion fritters.
Ingredients
Onions (peyaj): 4 big, chopped properly
Mustard oil: 50ml
Green chilli: 4 , chopped
Cornflour: 2tsp
Salt to taste
Just add the chopped onions, green chilli , salt, cornflour and 1 tsp of mustard oil. Mix them all and keep aside for 5/10mins so the onions soften.
Add mustard oil in a shallow pan. When the oil heats up, make small flattened balls of the marinated onions and fry till they become golden brown.
Serve with sauce or chutney, and enjoy your evening meal.
Best had with coriander chutney.
