Here’s what happened:
I ended up not leaving the house at all.
Last night, I realized I was missing two pills, two of my sleeping pills. So I obviously didn’t sleep at all, spend the night tossing and turning and bugging poor Rui. I woke up and I was a mess. While complaining and finding excuses not to get up, I actually realized I hadn’t done the blood tests my doctor had asked for. Oops. I felt stupid because it had been a month and a half. I called a lab and asked when I could come for my blood tests and they said any day, between 8 and 11.30. I then call my doctor’s office and changed my appointment from today to Monday the 12th, when the exams will be ready. I was so wrecked and couldn’t sleep at all so I decided to take one of my powerful pills. I told my mother what was happening and she said everything was okay, we could celebrate any other day, as she hadn’t slept very well herself and was feeling kind of groggy. In the end, everything worked out. And you’ll get your photos of Lisbon, next Monday. Am I forgiven? I hope so.
Now, I feel like I have a hangover (I’ve never experienced one but I imagine this is what it feels like). Also, yesterday was super windy and I spent two hours gardening and taking the wind. I think my sinus didn’t like it very much, as I am feeling a lot of pressure and pain in my ears and getting a bit deaf. Oh, the joys of living in the country.
Anyways, this is June, although it doesn’t feel like it at all, because it’s cloudy and cold and windy. This month I really need to focus on studying and being on a tight so I’ll tell you what I intend to do tomorrow:
