Hello everyone!!
I hope to find you all healthy.
I haven’t written in about 3 months. Honestly, I felt like I had nothing to say, with what is going on all around us. There’s so much news and so many blog posts and updates and articles, I didn’t feel like putting anything out there.
So what about us?
My husband and I are very lucky to be able to work from home, earning our full salary. Some of our friends are not that fortunate and have to be home with a partial salary, while their workplaces are closed down. My sister is an essential worker, which has me very worried, but most of our friends and family members have been safe at home.
I haven’t left the house to go anywhere but food shopping in over 2 months. We haven’t seen our friends and family in a very long time. It’s worth it, though, if we can keep everyone safe.
Things are slowly opening up now and I have to admit it makes me a little nervous. But we do need to try to get back to normal or to what is going to be our new normal anyway. We obviously have to wear a mask everywhere as it is mandatory in most places. I actually hate wearing one as I feel that it makes me touch my face so much more, but I’ll obviously wear one.
I’ve been reading a lot and I’m reading the The Twilight Saga again, as Midnight Sun is finally being released after 12 years. I have a lot of thoughts on this and will probably write a post.
Other than that I don’t have any news, I guess.
This is a pretty random post but I really just wanted to say hi and catch up a bit.
I’d be very happy to hear from you as well.
Please stay safe.
Love, Chey.

Loved hearing how you’ve been during this time 💕 I’m scared about how things seem to slowly getting back to normal now as well because it feels like too much of a risk what with all that’s gone on 😕 but I suppose we have to start somewhere. Take care ✨❤️

I hope you’re well and safe too. I know! Some of my acquaintances and friends have been going to hair and nail appointments already but I’m not ready for that just yet. I’d rather be careful. I miss having pretty nails and my eyebrows look awful but I those are not priorities for me. Step by step things will get back to normal. ❤️

Hey Chey,
So glad to hear you are doing okay, and that you have been able to continue to work from home.
Working from home has been a blessing to me as well, but I know many that also are out of a job or there businesses are closed.
It has been a little while since I have been online posting or catching up, but thankfully as I have been close to home and busy working from home I have found time to catch up with everyone.
I have missed a lot of your posts and can’t wait to catch up 🙂
I agree on the mask, but am thankful for the businesses around that post that they are required
since many here still choose not to even though it is suggested.
Stay Safe 🙂

Oh I forgot can’t wait for Midnight Sun, because I read all of the Twilight books with my wife and I am looking forward to reading some more of it with my wife when that comes out. 😛

So good to hear how your going. It’s quite tough here my housemate hasn’t worked since end of March. Essential worker but I was thought to have covd19 but was refused testing. So we were in lockdown for a few weeks. Finally got tested negative 😊. However where he was working is in lockdown so nearly two months no pay. Have enjoyed doing on line shopping 😂 watching a lot of Netflix. Currently watching White Lines a Spanish series. Xx

So glad to know you’re safe and well. We’ve been meaning to watch that show as the male lead is a great Portuguese actor, one of our best 😊
