I know I already answered this but I didn’t tell what my favourite thing about hubby is…there are so many, and like my favourite colour, it changes as time goes on but I love that he loves me no matter what. He sees all my crazy and loves me in spite of me. We don’t yell or fight because he knows my nerves can’t take it. :):) That we, literally, act like 2 little 5 year olds, most all the time, which make us laugh and smile.
I, too, answered, minus my favorite thing about my husband, so I will share that! He works tirelessly, not only during the work day, but after hours many times until he is completely exhausted. Despite all of that, he has the patience of a saint and comes home beyond thrilled to be with me. He is perfect for me. He makes me feel loved every day and never raises his voice, even when he is stressed or upset. I love him beyond words.
I have been married for 30 years with my hubby…I was 22 when we first met him. Actually, through a friend, I had met while working. I had just moved from the states to Greece and was studying Law and working at an international company at the time. I met a girl who was working on the upper level of the company and became friends. At the time she was dating my husband’s best friend, so one day she was going on a date and she asked me if I wanted to tag along, because her boyfriend was bringing a friend along, I said why not, I didn’t at the time know many people so it was a chance to meet new people to hang out with. So, after work we went downstairs and waited for her boyfriend in front of the company building, a car pulls up and out comes her boyfriend from the driver’s side, and then the passenger door opens and out walks this gorgeous tall blond, green-eyed OMG guy and it was love at first sight. 🙂 My husband is my best friend, my heart, my everything. Even now that after losing everything in Greece and moving to a new country and starting over again just makes me love him even more. He works hard and does his best to provide for our well-being. I love him 🙂
Mine and Jad’s story is like film! 🙂 we have been best friend’s forever – both had other boyfriends/girlfriends but best friend throughout. Then in 2009 we spend more time together ans on a drunken night out we kissed 😐 ha. We were still buddies at this point, but slowly grow closer and closer. A few months had passed and we were like a proper couple, but kept up with our “just pals” barrier. Then one night, Jad was rushed to hospital and I had found out through his Auntie. I rushed to the hospital and bumped into his mum who had a note saying “tell amanda” with my number on it. He was so happy to see that I was already there. There and then he said he loved me and that was it. We stuck by each other. Turned into a real couple, naturally. 💙💙 we always joke that he asked me to marry him before asking me to be is girlfriend haha! Anyway, we are now married. Been togethet for over 8 years and still best friends! 💙💙💙 such a soppy comment from me haha.
We met 29 years ago, not quite an accident per se but not a planned shindig either. They can annoy me more than politics and drive me crazier than someone eating with their mouth open, but this person is a part of me, for better and for worse, that I can’t get rid of. That’s right – I’m single and the love story is with myself!!
I was recovering from a failed crush that I had on someone. And he offered his shoulder for me to cry on. Thus sparked our friendship. We grow fonder and fonder and others started to see us as a couple. Everyone but me… I was getting obvious signals but I was so oblivious that one day, he grabbed by the shoulders and said “Look, this may jeopardize our friendship but I’ve never felt stronger about anything before. So it’s a risk I’m willing to take…(pause)… I love you.”
biggest shocking revelation I have had since. Truth be told, I was sorta lovey crushing on him already. so yeah. We were best buds for three years before we officially became a couple October last year.
My boyfriend of (almost) 2 years and I met at the state fair- my first time going- while we were both dating different people. Over the course of about a year, we drifted apart from those toxic relationships and to each other. He’s the love of my life and has the most gorgeous smile I’ve ever seen (: we’re living together in our first apartment ever as of this past June, and things are going really well…not that I’m surprised. He’s wonderful to live with and always a big help around the house AND such a huge supporter of me and my blog
