Health for days journey – June 28th (update)

Good evening dear friends,

It’s time to update you on my day and my to-do lists.

I need to start by telling you I had another allergic reaction. Oh yes. This time I was prepared and didn’t go to the hospital. I’ll take a proper allergy test soon. It was after taking my meds and my multivitamin, which is weird. Could it be the multivitamin? I’ve been taking the same meds for ages, I didn’t have any seeds today. The redness focused mainly on my face, ears and elbows. My left elbow was really bad. I have no idea what’s causing it. Is this similar to something you have seen?

My main priorities for today were:

  • Drink 2 l of water; – I think I got about 1,5 l. But I’ll drink more today.
  • Eat well – protein, 5 portions of fruits and veggies, avoid sugar and cut carbs to about 1/3 of what you use to eat; – Yes, I was good today.
  • Take your meds on time; – Done;
  • Take your multivitamin; – Done;
  • Walk 1000 steps, at least. I’ve downloaded a pedometer and that is the first goal, just 1000. I plan on walking around my neighborhood until I reach my goal; – Rui and I went for a walk and I walked 1112 steps.
  • 10 minutes of guided meditation; – Will do before bad.
  • 30 minutes of reading; – Yes, read Harry Potter.
  • 30 minutes of adult coloring; – I did.
  • 20 minutes of yoga; – Will do now.
  • 20 minutes of listening to music; – I did. Relaxing music.

And my tasks – non priorities, were:

  • I really need to do some gardening. There are weeds to pull out, seeds to plant and plants that need to be trimmed (can I say that for plants?). I need to give them some fertilizer and water them. The garden also needs to be swiped a washed down with the hose and some bleach where Rosa usually poops; – I had forgotten the Portuguese soccer team was playing today, so I spent my gardening time watching the game. I obviously watered the plants.
  • I need to do a few loads of laundry; And put them away immediately, before they pile up; – It rained a little so I didn’t touch it.
  • I really need to find a way to trick Rosa into giving her parasite medicine and cleaning her ears and teeth. I bet I won’t, she’s sneaky. – Forgot about this one.
  • Empty Betty and fill her up again; – Will do now, before yoga.
  • Clean all floors; – I swiped the living room and kitchen.
  • Read and comment blogs; – I did, not as much as I wanted. I’m always behind.

What else can you expect today?

  • My Perfect Party Series on Gracie from A Light In The Darkness– Posted.
  • 2 posts on Instagram; – Posted.
  • 2 posts on twitter; – Posted one.
  • 1 post on Facebook; – My posts go there automatically. I didn’t write anything other than that.
  • My “What’s Up Wednesday” post (didn’t happen last week); – Done.
  • A poll!! I have 4 pairs of shows I was thinking on giving away. I’m not so sure now. tomorrow, I didn’t have time to take the pictures. You guys will help me decide if I keep them or donate them;
  • An update tonight; – Here it is.

So I will post this, fill the washer up, do my yoga, have a shower, go to bed read and then listen to my guided meditation.

    You poor angel! I hope your test tells you what is causing the reactions.
    I did submit my application to a promotion of sorts at work but I still need to finish my statement of purpose for my grad school application. Still haven’t reviewed it!! 😅

    Hahaha from the angle you took the picture of the coloring page, I can’t see any mistakes! I love the colors you chose for the mandala! They go so well together. x ahh allergic reactions are SO awful! 😥 I hope everything heals up soon!

    I like how organized this whole list is, and you got much complete! I’m all over the place trying to do much at once and get back on track, but I can do it! Slowly but surly. I love those coloring books too✨
    And sorry you keep having these allergic reactions, I don’t know what it could be 😩 I’ve only had allergic reactions to nickel metal on belts and in jewelry, I got rashes in my ears, side of my face, neck, and stomach. I hope you can find out for sure what’s causing it! Try holding back on the multivitamins or switch to a new kind if you can and see if there’s a difference.

      Yes, honey, I’m no longer taking the multivitamin. I’m also all over the place, but I usually manage a few things. Why don’t you adapt my priority organization?
      3 colors or even 4 (Priorities, non priorities but important, okay if it doesn’t get done and what you’re posting or reading)

        I definitely will, I’ve had 2 great suggestions now so I’ll be working on changing up my lists this month. Hopefully this works well for me. I just actually find that sometimes I do better when I just go with the flow. I just want a little structure. How has these past couple of days been has the rash cleared?

    Be careful – is your breathing all right when you have these reactions? Sometimes, the caking agent in tablets (what makes them stick together in a pill shape) can cause this type of thing. Hope you feel better 💕

    Oh no allergies 😦 Hopefully you’ll be able to figure out what triggered it :/
    Also, your colouring is gorgeous! I never colour inside the lines, but to be honest, in the overall picture, no one can tell 😀
    Also, your camera has the same specs as mine (Mine is from 2013 😂)

    I hope you’re feeling better! Did you figure out what brought on this allergic reaction? That painting looks good and no, I couldn’t spot the places where you may have gone outside the line. It’s perfect. 😊 Take care, dear.

    Poor Cheila ! 💖 Maybe you’ve developed a new allergy ? It happens, I was never in my life allergic to pollen, and this year I think I am 😕 Getting tested is a great idea. I actually like your coloring, the shades you chose look nice together ! 😊

      Maybe it’s something new, yes. I’ve never had allergy problems. Oh, that you. But if you look closely, I always color outside the lines lol shaky hands and to impatient to color very slowly

    I love your Zentangle. So sorry about the allergic reaction. Is you honey using anything different, like body wash, cologne, etc. Since you narrowed down it’s nothing of yours, I thought maybe it might be something of his. Praying it quits happening, I know it’s frustrating. After my accupunture yesterday I did cut my hair :):) BUT I didn’t do it exactly right so my son was nice enough to even it out for me and it is the best hair cut I have ever had.
